For UC, CIOs tell us that they prefer Telcos to Systems or IT providers
Telco capabilities are much better than SIs and local resellers, but in
customer orientation they are much weaker.
Equipment makers, SIs and IT can provide a technical solution but have difficulties providing a
complete end-to-end service.
System integrators do not run this for you. They have a telco behind them. My opinion is that the telcos will try to drive this market forward and to
sell this as one product.
You have to have a dialog with the operators. They provide a service. You can buy from someone else and they
would be behind there somewhere but that’s not the way we want to do it.
