In the 1980s I had planned to produce a coffee table ma tchbook, bu t was never able to overcome some obvi ous obs tacles. Ins tead, I turned to ac tual-size books of ma tches whenever i nspra-ti on s truck. Some of the works repro-duced herei n were manufac tured and exhibi ted. Others are simply vir tual objec ts which haunted my imagina-ti on.
