What does Twilio Do?• It gives you the ability to build phone services in the

cloud, so you can set up useful solutions for yourself, your friends and family, or your group or organization. Some solutions I have used Twilio for are:

– Virtual phone numbers that can forward to your cellphone or a web application– Two-factor security management using SMS– Overseas phone numbers that forward to your number in another country– Remote voice mail– Forwarding of links to audio files to email or applications – Record phone interviews – Create a phone quiz

Getting Started

• Twilio has a number of quickstarts, code examples and sample code to use to implement different features.

• It’s easy to input the url of where you are hosting your scripts (on Heroku, for example) to Twilio, and your phone numbers will access the scripts when a User calls.
