What is the outcome you are hoping to get in your community?

Pillars of marketinghow many do you have in your business?

4) Lack of support

5) Litigation, be found out

6) Who you are, what you can offer, why you serve

7) Muddle through, poor time management, working IN the business..

8) Alone, lack of ideas, lack of sharing.

Perfection

Is overrated!

You will never make anything perfect

And it is better to DO something, and get it done, than procrastinate and wait for perfection

Community

Daring Greatly

• Be the go-to person in your community

• Not just online, do it for real!

• What’s your niche/need? What’s available already? What’s needed, find out and respond!

• Curiosity?

• How do you find the inspiration to work when you’re not sure where your main talents/interests/ideas/thoughts/patients lie?

• Where does our work begin and end?

So where do I start?

• Before• During • After

• Examples: Tones teen summit and Waverley Borough Council structure….

• From idea to a mighty oak

Before

• Clarity of purpose

• Who do you want to serve?

• What do you want to achieve?

• Gather your tribe.

• Who do you need to connect with?

• Date, timings, structure, goodie bags, surveys.

• Pre-survey, can help to get interest. (Tone’s sleep survey ex.)

• Who will help with goodie bags?

During

• Organise team and helpers

• Scheduling essential-if you have to do with people,

• Have tent, flags, goodie bags, survey to fill in onsite

• Include supportive work, articles, brochures, (helpful)

• Vouchers, sign up, competitions etc.

• PHOTOS!!! If not of kids, of you.

• FUN, EDUCATE, SUPPORTIVE, HELP FUL, not selling.

After

• Analyse the event, day, what worked well, less well, what can be tweaked?

• Analyse results, do something with them

• DON’T LEAVE THEM in a drawer.

• Write blog, article editorials, film, audiboo

• Share it everywhere, and on website

• Build the evidence that you are committed, sticking your neck out for your purpose.

So, now to work,

• Five groups.

• Work on a target or goal

• Create the pathway,

• Before, during and after

• Present it to the group in one hour.

• This can then be replicated to many other areas.

Takeaways and commitments

• What have you learnt today?

• What will you do?

• How will you do it?

• By when?
