be complicated by the presence or potential presence of a hazardous substance,

pollutant, or contaminant.

WHAT IS A BROWNFIELD PROGRAM?

Brownfield Programs are a way to resolve or clarify the environmental liability

associated with a property.

Programs include:

• Liability Protection Programs: DEQ, OCC

• Grant and Loan Programs: EPA, DEQ, OCC, Tribal, City

• Assistance Programs: Tribal, City
