Jim Wiesemeyer is a frequent speaker on farm policy andtrade issues, including presentations to several nationaland regional sugar industry meetings. He is senior vicepresident at Informa Economics, where he contributesdaily to the firm’s Morning Comments report, providingclients with the latest information on ag policy and tradedevelopments. He previously served as Washington edi-tor and bureau chief for ProFarmer, Inc., among otherposts, during a D.C. career that began in the latter 1970s.He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University.

David Berg is a Fargo native. After serving in theU.S. Air Force, he earned a bachelor’s degree in masscommunications from Moorhead State University in

1978 and worked as a television reporter for twoyears. He received a master’s degree in agriculturaleconomics from North Dakota State University in1982. After five years at General Mills, he joinedAmerican Crystal in 1987, working in marketing,business development, agriculture and operationsprior to being named President & CEO in 2007.
