The Brief• On the occasion of the International Day for the Eradication of

Poverty, BRAC disseminated key messages related to its programmes.

• The objective was to make the general audiences more aware aboutthe scale and impact of the programmes of BRAC through the testimonials of actual people who are associated with BRAC.

• Simultaneous, reinforcements took place in the press, special events such as a policy dialogue, TV talk Show, and local level rallies, discussion sessions and cultural events.

• The expected outcome is that people (in Dhaka, especially) wouldhave more knowledge about the broad spectrum of work that BRAC does and would also have the website address to refer to for further information.
