2014 saw the first year of the awards and winners in each category of Bristol and Bath Women in Business awards were announced at a gala evening in April.

The Bath Chronicle Pride of Bath Awards continues to go from strength to strength.

The Bristol and Bath Apprenticeships Awards recognise both businesses that help drive apprenticeship schemes across our cities as well as those apprentices.
In their first year the awards are an amalgamation of the Bristol Post and Bath Chronicle Apprenticeship Awards and were a great success.

The Bath Love to Shop Awards celebrate retail in Bath and recognising those that make our shopping experiences personal and unique. The race is on to honour the stars, the stalwarts and the unsung heroes of sport in Bath.
Now in its fifth year and firmly established as one of the highlights of the city’s sporting calendar, The Bath Chronicle Sports Awards rewards the people who power its professional and amateur clubs.
There are nine awards up for grabs – catering for every sport you can think of – and they will be handed out at a glittering ceremony at Bath Racecourse’s marquee in November.
Previous winners include Lizzy Yarnold who confirmed her status as the world’s best female skeleton athlete by being crowned Winter Olympic champion in Sochi in February 2014. Also, multiple paralympic swimming champion Stephanie Millward as a hugely popular winner of the coveted Sports Personality of the Year award in 2013. She followed in the footsteps of London 2012 hero Ed McKeever, who scooped our inaugural prize after striking canoeing gold at the home Olympics.
