Barrier Games in P018

Grade 1 AFRodriguez

Can you build my design?

Are you able to follow my instructions?

How well do I explain what you need to do?

Can you please repeat the directions?

Mentioning ‘right side’ and ‘left side’ was crucial.

Giving instructions for 3-d shapes was not easy at first.

We also learned to mention if the sides or the corners were touching each other.

We were hopeful that we got it right.

We only knew once the barrier was removed how well we both did – the listener and the creator .

With practice in listening, then following the directions, we know

we will get very good at this. When I give directions, I learned I have to be precise. Or no one will

be able to do what has to be done.
