Thanks for being here today!

Remember the first time it made sense?

Acts 2:22-23 “Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves

know. This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross.

v.36 “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”

We realized we are to

blame.

v.37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

We deserved to

die.

v. 38… Peter replied, “Repent..

What does it mean?

We have a merciful God!

Eph. 2:3-5 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.

But because of his great love for us, God who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

It’s for everyone!

Acts 2:39…This promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

Acts 17:30…In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.

It’s an on-going transformation!

Romans 12:1-2..Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercies, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual service of worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world,

But be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
