1994PostureTech® Sense & Respond technology arrives. Sealy Posturepedic becomes Australia’s number one selling premium bedding brand.

2001Sealy invents the Dual Support System®, a technological breakthrough which provides individualised conformance and deep-down correct support.

2012A new era of support technologies arrives with Sealy’s first graduated coil design, the SRx Titanium support system. It is soon followed by the ReST II coil, designed and made only in Australia.

1881Daniel Haynes starts making mattresses for his friends in the town of Sealy, Texas. The ‘mattress from Sealy’ is born.

1923The future ‘Sealy of Australia’ begins trading as Madad. The company originally builds furniture as well as mattresses.
