THE

Welcome to very first talent competition held in AIESEC in Universiti Utara Malaysia

Awards (AUUMAN) night!

We, the AUUMAN 2014 team recognize the hidden talents in UUM AIESECers, raging

to be shown and just waiting to be channelled out. This is the perfect chance for you and your

teammates to take up this challenge! Work hard, play hard!

The main objective this initiative is executed is to instil team spirit in departments as well

as providing a platform for talented individuals to be recognized. And of course, have fun!

Here are some brief details regarding the talent competition:

Date : 21st March 2014

Venue : Sekeping Victoria, Georgetown, Pulau Pinang

Eligible Participant : UUM AIESECers holding a current role

We can sense the excitement building up in you to just fill in the registration but hold

your horses! Do read the terms and conditions of the competition before you sign up! Failure

to adhere the given terms and conditions will cause in termination of the registration.

1. All participants in this competition are required to purchase an entrance ticket of

AUUMAN 2014 respectively to take part in this competition. Failure to do so will result in

disqualification.

2. All departments in AIESEC UUM are required to send ONE (1) team to take part.

3. Due to time constraint, we can only allow one team per department. So send out

your best!

4. For the time being, interdepartmental teams are not allowed but if you have a special

request, please do inform us and we will take into consideration.

5. One team can consist of 1-6 members only.

6. Time allocated for each performance is no less than 5 minutes and not more than 15

minutes. OCs have the right to cut the performance short if such rule is not adhered.

OCs will prepare the necessary PA system and microphone(s). 7.

8. Props, CD music, instruments etc for the performance should be provided by the

team themselves.

9. CD music and proper instruction and cues regarding performance should be given

to the OCs ONE(1) week before the competition. OCs will be collecting them.

10. Performance will be judged based on originality, creativity, skill level and appearance.

11. Each performance should not contain any direct or indirect of discrimination, racism,

foul word or any form of offensive gestures. OCs reserve the rights to terminate participation

if such rule is broken.

12. We strongly encourage a diverse type of performance from all teams to keep the

competition between teams and to bring more excitement. Surprise us!

13. Judgment will be allocated as below to ensure a fair and unbiased result:

80% Audience votes

(Audience here is defined as participants of AUUMAN 2014. Each entrance ticket is

comes with a free voting ticket so get as many supporters as you can! ;) )

20% VIP votes

(VIP here is defined as alumni and any special guests of AUUMAN 2014.)

All participants will be given a participation certificate. 14.

15. Only THREE (3) winners will be selected and given cash prizes. Specific amount of

cash prizes will be announced on a later date.

16. All judges’ result is final and no dispute will be entertained.

Registration period will be opened from 11th February 2014 to 13th February 2014!

Utilize the time gap to discuss and send your representatives with the most unique and

outstanding performance! Blow the audience away!

Registration will be carried out online.
