What is Sublimation?

Sublimation is the process of changing solid to gas directly.

Example-Odonil, Camfour, Napthelene Balls.

When Odonil is in a solid form its molecules are tightly

packed and have no intermolecular space , there is no

movement and has no energy but when it changes to gas the

molecules keep on moving and have lots of intermolecular

space, they gain energy.
