Gallery & Art Center We are on the back side of remodeling the Paseo San Luis building, with a few items left to complete, ie: the floor, plumbing. There will be items that pop up as we get into completion. Please see the attached photos regarding the dropped ceiling, lighting and floor. The gallery floor was lighter than we wanted, but after talking with the flooring con-tractor, he assured us it will darken with the remaining layers that will be added.

The name for the new HAA Gallery is: ‘Gallery & Art Center’ HUACHUCA ART ASSOCIATION…

Brown Canyon Ranch will be hosting an Open House on Saturday, May 14th. Activities will be commencing at about 9am, but artists wanting to set up for plein air painting are encouraged to arrive earli-er, and will be allowed to drive their vehicles right up to the ranch house to unload their materials, (and maybe even get a good parking space), per Liz Horning.

From the Studio

No Studio Events in March Because of the impending move to HAA's new building on Paseo San Louis, there will not be Paper Arts or a Member's demo in April because of the move to our new location on Paseo San Louis. There will be an announcement when these sessions resume.

Moving: Help Wanted! The movers are scheduled to arrive at Astro St. on Friday, April 8 to pick up all of our large items and move them to the new building. We can make it all go a lot faster for them, and maybe less costly for us, if a bunch of us could show up at Astro St. on the day before that, (Thursday, April 7, starting at about 9:30), with whatever vehicles we happen to have (trucks are great, but not nec-essary), and pick up all of the items that have been packed in boxes, along with any of the more lightweight or loose items, and drive them all on over to Paseo San Luis. Many hands will make light work, so we hope that you will plan to be there!
