Zuleikha Mahmood is a queer mixed Afghan writer and zine-maker who lives in Oakland. She's just returned from touring with Mangos with Chili, a queer and trans people of color

performing arts cabaret.

You can find her work on Muslim Wakeup's Sex in the Umma column and forthcoming in Kohl, an anthology of Afghan American women's fiction.

She is committed to documenting the lives of Muslim drop‐outs, fuck‐ups, queers, and whores. Zuleikha is also proud to be a co-founder of the Femme Sharks.
