MARX GENERATOR DRIVEN IMPULSE RADIATING ANTENNA

The APELC Marx-driven IRA is capable of radiated electric field strengths in excess of 200 kV/matanormalized rangeof1mandacenter frequencyof 210MHz. The system is two-man portable andsingle-man operational. It consists of a TEM-horn-fedparabolic reflector that isdirectlydrivenbya22-J,400-kVMarxgenerator.
