WHAT is theGOAL of a

DISCIPLE?Borrowed from LLI 

The first goal you must establish is tomake Jesus Christ Lord of everyaspect of your life. As Jesus said, “If anyone would come after me, he mustdeny himself and take up his crossand follow me” (Matthew 16:24). Thedisciple must take up his cross. TheRomans who occupied Palestine inthe time of Jesus used crucifixion as amethod of execution for thoseconvicted of capital crimes. Thecross, therefore, is a symbol of death.When Christ calls you to take upyour cross, He is calling you to die toyourself, your ambitions, and plans inlife and to devote yourself fully tofollowing Him.

Jesus also says in the next verse,“Whoever wants to save his life willlose it, but whoever loses his life forme will find it. “ (Mt. 16:25).

The 33 means, 33 minutes spent Meeting, Sitting, Teaching, Talking

and Praying will make a whole lot of difference in your Christian walk.It could be 33 minutes to 103 minutes!
