Using ANVILL’sVoiceboard for Discussions

VoiceboardsHere’s a public space for you to pose questions and make technical suggestions. These posts are visible to all course participants. You can write, speak, or upload a comment or media file (or do all three). To get started, click the + sign and follow these steps...

To post a written message…

add a Title, write your Text Message, click save.

To post an audio or video message (FF or Chrome)….

add a Title, click Start and Record in the Voice Message box, then click save.

Step 1: Posting a Message (overview)

For both text and voice messages, fill in the information requested: a title, a brief description, etc.

For voice, click the “start” and “record” buttons to begin recording. You may have to “share your microphone” (Firefox & Chrome)

You can also upload audio or video files.

Click the Save button.

Step 2: Messages

You can write here or copy and paste from elsewhere.

You can also attach your summary here--most file

types are accepted.

Click the “Choose File” button.

Find the file you want to Upload on your computer.

Click the Upload button.

Click Submit.

Step 3a: Uploading files

The process is the same for media files.

Make sure your file is visible in the Attachments box.

Click Save.

Step 3b: Checking your uploaded file

If you’re successful, your entry will look something like this.

This entry has both sound and text. You can edit it by clicking on the “gear”.

Step 4: A typical entry

You  can  edit  it  by  clicking  on  the  “gear”.
