At first, I was unable to make it works. If you have trouble with the license, Isuggest you to type your Hostname and FlexID manually.ALso be sure that the checkbox is checked in LMTools (see step 6). Step-by-step:

1. Install Ansys 11 (autoexec.exe->Install Products-> Ansys Products)2. Install License Management (autoexec.exe->Install Products-> Licence Management)First question - Answer NoSecond question - Answer Yes3. Start-> Programs-> Ansys Flexlm Licence ManagerOpen ANSLIC_ADMIN UtilityChoose: Show HostID... (2nd tab)Write down: your Hostname and FlexID4. Go back to the MAGNITUDE folderopen a11calc.exe

answer: notype your Hostnametype your FlexID

5. Copy the licence.dat that has been createdPaste it in X:program files\Ansys\Shared\Licensing\6. Open LMTools->Start-> Programs-> Ansys Flexlm Licence ManagerCheck (bottom right corner): LMTools Ignores license file path envrironment variablesIn the Config Services tab:specify path to the lmgrd.exe file: X:program files\Ansys\Shared\Licensing\intel
