Body Coverings
Different animals have different body coverings.
Purposes : Keep the animal warm For movement Protect them from injuries Look attractive camouflage
Important note: Some animals do not have body coverings.Examples: Frog, squid, earthworm, slug, jellyfish, cuttlefish, etc.
Hair : Human, tiger, sheep, dog, bear (Mammals)
Feathers : eagle, chicken, swan (Birds) Scales : Snake and crocodile (Reptiles) guppy,
goldfish (Fish)
