Alias was founded in 1979, spaghetti is the first successful product, now permanently displayed at MOMA in New York. In 1994 frame collection was launched on the market and in 1998 Laleggera won the Compasso d’Oro Award. In 2001 Cassina bought 100% of Alias shares.
