ARCHITECTURE

TAKE THIS TIME TO WRITE DOWN WHAT YOU THINK YOU KNOW ABOUT

ARCHITECTURE.

MY NAME IS CHANDLER, BY THE WAY.

ARCHI-LECTURE

• Architecture- the profession of designing buildings and other structures with specific reverence for aesthetic appeal and functionality.• We just covered all

the bases.• Woo

NOW YOU’RE BASICALLY AN ARCHITECT.

YOU WERE, TRULY, A DECENT AUDIENCE.

S’COOL

• A bachelor’s degree is the minimum level of education that most firms accept on applications.• You could be the frat in

the hat while getting your bachelor's.

• Interning is also of vital importance to anyone wishing to secure a position in a firm.

DOLLA DOLLA BILLS, Y’ALL

• The average architect will make just above $60,000 through their first year of work outside of college.• An architect with five

or more years of practice under their belt can make in upwards of $110,000.

BE A GOOD LISTENER

• Architects must be good at communicating with their clients in order to realize the client’s vision of a given project.• For this reason, having

good people-skills would make one more attractive to employers.• But not nearly as

attractive as this man

DRAWING IS WAY FUN

• Because drafting project plans is an important part of being an architect, it might be beneficial for those seeking a career in the field to have a penchant for art and the skill of drawing.
