Lord God, You have called Your servants to ventures of which we cannot see the ending, by paths as yet untrod, through perils unknown. Give us faith to go out with good courage, not knowing where we go but only that Your Hand is leading us and Your love supporting us. May the children who come to VBS grow in faith as they see and understand who You are and what You have done for them through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Closing PrayerLord God, Heavenly Father, You sent your Son Jesus to this sinful world to save us from sin and death. He journeyed to the cross for us so that He could bring us safely to our true home in heaven. You have brought us together to lead and teach in our VBS. Bless us as we serve you in Your kingdom. Help us to know that You richly and daily provide all that we need in our lives. Make us strong in Your Word and confident that You alone will guide and lead us this week and throughout our lifetime. Bless the children whom come to our VBS and through Your Holy Spirit by teaching of Your saving Word may those who don’t know You come to faith. We pray for (insert your local prayer requests). We pray all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
