Alonso L. TanBro. Alonso L. Tan, the honoree in a testimonial dinner tendered by the Knights of Columbus Luzon Jurisdiction on October 21, 2010 was elected Supreme Director of the Supreme Board of Directors of the Knights of Columbus in August 2010.

At the time of his election as Supreme Director, he was in the second year of his second term (2009-2010) as the appointed State Deputy of the Knights of Columbus Luzon Jurisdiction.

Bro. Alon joined Manila Council 1000 in 1977 and was adjudged Knight of the Year on the same year. He served as its Grand Knight for the Columbian Year 1986-1987.

He served as District Deputy of District M53, Archdiocese of Manila for three years from 1992-1995 and distinguished as the Most Outstanding District Deputy of Luzon Jurisdiction during the Columbian Year 1993-1994.
