All about Horses!!!!!!!!

Female horses are called mares. Male horses are called stallions.

Horses eat apples , carrots, grass, hey and flowers.

Horses have long flowing manes and tails. Horses mainly sleep standing up but if they feel safe they sleep laying down. .

A colt is a baby male and a filly is a baby female.

Horses have hooves . Hooves and teeth grow the horses whole life!

Horses have long tails to swat the flys away .

Horses live in barns but a long time ago horses where wild .

Horses are sometimes VERY friendly.
