THE BLIND LINK VIETNAM, is a newly
established not-for-profit social enterprise in Hanoi,
Vietnam serving the Vietnamese blind or/and visually
impaired people through expanding employment
opportunities for the blind and visually impaired, to
broaden their massage skill techniques, to help them better understand how to
run a business, and to give them the chance to achieve a better life.
By doing this, the visually-impaired people will build up their confidence,
find it easy to integrate into community and lessen social and familial burdens.
Blind-Link Bring bright future and self-esteem to Vietnamese visually impaired
young adults and their families, many of whom are victims of Agent Orange.

ACTIVITIES
THE TRAINING ACTIVITIES
Playing a bridging role, the Blind-link helps impaired people with blind or/and
visually impaired people The company provides:
Blind-link has been established 4 programs:
- Massage education courses: training from the professional
instructors, self-practising at the Blind-link’s spa “ Omamori spa”
- Personal development program: encouraging positive mindset
through activities such as telling story, music, social engagement
- Entrepreneurship education program: providing lessons on how to
start small businesses
- English communication Program: through international
volunteers, lessons
THE BUSINESS ACTIVITIES
In order to help the learners to get familiar with and continue
improving their working skills after graduation, the Blind-link has been
established Omamori spa, which has been ranked 5th out of 42 spas by
TripAdvisor. Blindlink has not only created full-time employment for total
16 people, but the company has also built a strong reputation in massage
field in Hanoi.

training opportunities for the Vietnamese visually impaired community.

our dedicated and passionate blind therapists. Each practitioner has

education on a regular basis with continuing education classes.

world one more day with our massage, at the same time you are
supporting the visually disabled community to make their lives

NGO project of AIESEC FTU HN is a project cooperated with an NGO. Our
mission is to provide non-government organizations (NGOs) and social
enterprises (SEs) with a team of young, proactive, energetic and potential
international students to make impacts in the society by joining community
projects.
“NGO Project – Blind Link Vietnam” is a project in which AIESEC FTU HN
cooperates with a social enterprise – THE BLIND-LINK Vietnam.
Joining the project, interns will be assigned the position of Marketing
communications (01); Fundraising for social programs (01) . Interns will be a part
of a team of three interns working together to gain valuable work experience
with a Vietnamese not-for-profit social enterprise in organizing and
implementing marketing plan with targeted clients are foreign tourists and expat
community in Hanoi and fundraising activities for social programs of Blind-Link.
ABOUT NGO PROJECT
Start Date: 15th November 2014, requires 6 - 8 week commitment
Attendance: Monday to Friday: Three (3) days a week in the office, Two (2)
days work from home ( Days of attendance in the office are flexible).
Hours: 8am to 5pm
Besides, Interns can have the chance to:
Deepen and fulfill communications and media skills.
Gain experience in organizing marketing or communication strategies
internationally.
Learn about Blind-Link and Vietnamese social enterprises while helping
the disadvantaged people.
Opportunity to experience Vietnamese cultures and get to know
Vietnamese people throughout work as well as with the local host.
Enjoy free massages (Acupressure, Swedish, Hot Stone, Foot Massage) in
Omamori Spa once per week.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND ACTIVITIES
Job description 1: Professtional contribution: To share knowledge with Blind-Link’s staff on new ideas, directions, and venues for marketing and communications
Job description 2: Marketing communications: To develop and implement marketing plan for Omamori Spa, targeting to foreign tourists and the expats community in Hanoi.
Job description 3: Fundraising for social programs: To formulate external public relations/ communications plan and organize fund raising events for social programs.
Job description 4: Reporting and giving feedback Interns help AIESEC FTU Hanoi to report and feedback the whole experience working in the NPO.

REQUIREMENTS
Commitment for a minimum of 6 weeks of internship and take
responsibilities to help Blind-Link achieve its mission;
Have some experience in the field of marketing communications and
fund raising;
Must be fluent in English and bring a laptop for the project.
