To spread awareness about education

Why Education ??

40% of India's population is below the age

of 18 years We have more than 400 million children

in India

50% of India's children are between the age of 6 and 18 years and are not in school

More than 200 million children have no access to education

About Paathshaala

Started with 11 students and little resources

Currently have over 100 students, 3 full time teachers and 10 volunteers

Our Journey so far.....

We started teaching kids under a tree on weekends..All we had was a Mat and the Motivation to bring change in their lives

In March 2010

Our Journey so far.....

Within couple of months we were able to get a room, a teacher and

more than 20 students
