The Agricultural Department of Chhattisgarh take various decision to improve the economic 0r financial state of farmer.
The Agriculture Minister informed that 2lakh hectares of area have been finalized for oilseeds crops and 58.81 lakh hectares of arable land in Chhattisgarh.
The agricultural department has launched a number of schemes for the benefit of farmers that makes them to easy availability of funds at cheaper rates of interest to the tillers of the soil.
The department need to pay more impetus in boosting the irrigation resources of the state and in promoting horticulture in intensive mode in the state.
The Agriculture Department has distributed as many as 8.34 lakh packets of organic fertilisers to the farmers of the State.The Department is now preparing to distribute 11.50 lakh packets to
the farmers.
The Agriculture Department has begun working for urging the ranchers to sow a greater amount of heartbeats
product in Rabi season for each the given target, fitting hectares have been apportioned for sowing gram,lentils,
moong, urad, kulthi and Tivra crop.
The Department of Agriculture should provide friendly environment so that the farmers can grab new technology and procedural knowledge easily.
The Agricultural Department took effective steps in the direction and provide number of facilities to the
farmers. Chhattisgarh has become the first state of the country to provide 24x7 electricity supply to farmers for
agriculture.
