Required to design a specific project in a chosen architect’s “spirit”, taking on his philosophical, ideological and architectural role. This project will be a residential single-family residence designed “by” the architect in one of the following locations in Egypt.

Required to swap research and work of another student’s assigned architect and design a small residential studio in Egypt.

Taking a layered approach of both expression and function you are required to design a temporary AUC Art Pavilion for the display of art and creative works produced by the AUC community. The location will be the Bartlett Plaza in front of the library, as indicated in the image below. Students are expected to use the site to gather relevant visual and physical data to inform their site analysis, pavilion location choice and consequent design process.
