WALK –IN –SELECTION FOR ENGINEERs E-2 (B.E./B.TECH.(Electrical/Electrical &Electronics)

Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC) Schedule 'A' Navaratna Public Sector Enterprise under the administrativecontrol of Ministry of Power engaged in the financing and promotion of transmission, distribution & generation projects

throughout India will be conducting “Walk in Selection” for appointment of 5 Engineers (3 Genl, 1OBC,1 SC, ) in E-2level.

Qualification:- BE/B.Tech (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics ) candidates should have following minimum %age marks :-

Degree/Exams General OBC SC

S.S.C.(Xth) 90 85 85H.S.C. (XIIth) 90 85 85BE (Graduation) 80 75 75

Age :- Should not be more than 27 years for Genl. 30 years for OBC and 32 years for SC candidates ( as on 1..2.2011 )

Emoluments:- Scale of Pay of Rs. 24900-3%-50500(provisional) plus allowances as per rules of the Corporation (E-2Level)

Candidates will be selected on the basis of average marks from these three public examinations. B.Tech. Degree holderfrom I.I.Ts will be given 10% and those from BITs Pilani/NITs will be given 5% additional marks to their Degree Marks.The candidates are requested to send their Bio-data in prescribed proforma which should be down loaded fromwww.recindia.com & www.recindia.nic.in which must reach by e-Mail at walkinrec@gmail.com within 2 weeks fromthe date of appearance of this advt. in Employment News. Names of shortlisted candidates will be put on REC website forWalk-in Selection on 18.03.2011. Only those candidates whose name appear on the REC website may report forwalk-in-selection on 25.03.2011 at 10 am at our branch office i.e. REC Ltd. 3
