The Declaration of Independence Author….
• Thomas Jefferson was born in Shadwell, Virginia on April 13, 1743
• He drew inspiration from two works one being his own which was, “A Summary View of the Rights of British America, The second was, George Mason’s, “Virginia Declaration of Right’s”
• He spent the last few years of his life in retirement in Monticello, He founded, directed, and designed the University of Virginia
What Pursuit of Happiness Means…
• The phrase Life, Liberty, and The pursuit of Happiness came from John Locke’s ideas of “Life, Liberty, and Property
• It is a inalienable right enumerated in the Declaration of Independence, in addition to life and liberty
My Pursuit of Happiness….
• I Love to live my life one day at a time……
Calvine High School…
• I like the teaching here because there more one on one instead of focusing on everybody
• Students here are pretty chill, everybody minds there own business
• Teachers are cool because they always believe in you, they never tell you that its impossible
Something I Like to Do…
• The things I do for my pursuit of happiness is, Live my life, Love my family, keep Jesus close to me, Stay with my girlfriend 24/7, Work out to keep in shape, Play Basketball, Watch 49ers games on Sunday, just having fun in general, and also keep my school work in check. Just trying to set my future up
• The people most important to me is probably my family, I wouldn’t be here with out them
The Best Thing About Me…
• The positive trait I poses is the ability to all the work no matter how long it takes, I never give up on anything, also I always try to better myself no matter how good I am at that certain thing. I strive to succeed, I don’t except failure as an option
If I Ran for President…
• I feel that freedom is important in the U.S. Just obey all the laws that protect peoples freedoms and that’s all that matters. I feel that safety is also important in the U.S. along with a well funded education system for America
Most Important Individual Right …
• The first amendment is the most important to me. I love my freedom of speech. With out freedom of speech you wouldn’t have some of the best speech’s heard through out history, Like the speech at the Inauguration of Obama, our 44th president
Citizens Responsibilities…
• I think we as citizens are supposed to follow law to keep peace and quite in our society, if we all do that everything will go smooth for everybody, No Hate and Drama, Just Peace and Quiet in our Society
What we can do to make the world a better place…
• I thin k we could we this a better place if we all just try to get along, Start no problems with everybody, Make the right financial decisions so the economy won’t get destroyed. Just respect an d follow the Bill of Rights
My Future
• Hopefully in about 5 years I will be working in the medical field either as a Radiological Tech, Radiologist, or a Registered Nurse.
• I plan to get to my dream jobs by getting into Sac State or University of Hawaii, or UC Davis, I planed to be in school for like another 4 to 5 years
