this proJect is about a mixed neighborhood, with shops, offices and housing, in an industrial wasteland in yverdon-les-bains.the buildings are “megablocs”, to interact with existing industrial structures on the site. the ground floor is permeable to allow pedestrians to move freely. some parcs and squares maintain the neighborhood.the building who is developped here, is a building with a central courtyard and many patios to introduce a smaller scale of life who remind the historical center of the town.shops are on the ground floor, and offices and housings are equally distributed throughout the rest of the building. big loggias and passages pierce the megabloc revealing views of the park, and the life of the building.

this proJect is about a housing neighberhood in an industrial and railway wasteland in lausanne. the neighberood should be an extract of a larger plan, an ideal city. one of the constraints is to make some “mischbebauung”, to mix different typologies with high rise and low rise. two pedestrian axes - a vegetal one and a mineral one - grow on the site and connect the neighberhood to the city. they intersect at a park which is itself a connexion of nature in the city scale. different built entities interact with this axes. they all work with a open courtyard system, but with different scale of privacity.

concevoir des structures - halle des fetes, 1964, mozerprof weinand, group proJectmodelsfor this course, we had to study an existant structure - halles des fetes, from the expo 64 in lausanne, designed by mozer-. after having built some models and analysed the building, we had to provide an alternative, with contemporary materials and details.
