• PEMBERTON TOWNSHIP — Fifteen Army Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps students at the high school were recognized for their academic achievements.The students were honored with a ceremony earlier this month and received the JROTC National Academic Wreath Insignia in recognition of achieving an A-average in the JROTC as well as at least a B-average in all other classes at Pemberton High School.The Pemberton JROTC unit is noted as an Honor Unit with Distinction. Awarded by the U.S. Army ROTC, this award is the highest unit level rating possible in the Army JROTC.The 15 students who received the Academic Wreath Achievement Insignia were seniors Jorge Colon, Ashley Rodgers, Vincent Rossetti, Ariel Sears and John Casciano, juniors Stephanee Brown, Jason Price, Christian Zukowski, Jonathan Melendez and Jeannie Chambers, and sophomores Alexander Adams, Ruben Ford, Anita Pamplin, Michael Pineiro and Britnie Smith.
