About the speakers
Tim Elgood Tim’s main area of expertise is in integrating low-energy mechanical services and passive design techniques with architectural designs in order to determine the most appropriate environmentally sustainable design (ESD) solution. He is particularly skilled at delivering sustainable, low-energy buildings that cost no more than ‘ordinary’ buildings and has particular experience in the development of masterplans and sustainable infrastructure.
Michael Heenan Michael Heenan is a principal of Allen Jack+Cottier Architects (AJ+C) in Sydney, Australia with 100 architects in offices across South East Asia. He is presently designing a number of new cities with disruptive environmental strategies where urbanity and ecology share equal status. Michael, who has been a judge at the World Architecture Festival in 2010 and 2011, has helped the practice become one of the most recognised in Australia.
