There upon the kitchen shelf I looked over and eyed an elf

Disguised as a Mango

How do I know?Because she told me so

Little Miss Mary Mango

"Hey little mango do you wanna tango?"

"Not right now my dear, I just arrived 

How about counting to ten, then.. starting all over

again10 times?!"

"Ten times?!!, I wearily replied

How about I just count to twenty-five?“

"If you say so my little friend, but I may be gone when you reach the end"

Ok, Ok, I'll do as you say but HEY!

wait a minute, Where did you come from

anyways ?"

"That's for me to know and for you to find out,

And hey, if YOU don't mind please.. don't shout"

So, I counted to 10, ten times and I thought ...

I looked over and eyed an elf

"Hey little mango,

do you wanna tango?"

The mango gave no reply

"Heeeeyyy little mango, do you wanna  tango ?“

Again I asked and still no reply.

"Fine!", I said "I'll show you!

I’ll cut you in half then chop you in two"

Well I tried and I tried but I just couldn't do it

Then out of my head.. a light bulb appeared

I know!,

I'll get momma to do it

when she rises from bed

Good Morning Momma!”I say

Beautiful day isn’t it?

What’s for breakfast anyways?

Standing there with my mouth open wide

awaiting mouth-watering pleasure

Momma cut the mango
