Setting up• Avoidpositioningtheapplianceindirectsunlightornearcook-ers,radiatorsandsimilarsourcesofheat.

• Theflooronwhichtheappliancestandsshouldbehorizontalandlevel.

• StandardEN378specifiesthattheroominwhichyouinstallyourappliancemusthaveavolumeof1m³per8gofR600arefrigerantusedintheappliance,soastoavoidtheformationofinflammablegas/airmixturesintheroomwheretheapplianceislocatedintheeventofaleakintherefrigerantcircuit.Thequantityofrefrigerantusedinyourapplianceis indicatedonthetypeplateontheinsideoftheappliance.

Electrical connectionOnlyoperatetheappliancewithalternating current (AC).

Mounting the anti-tipping device

WARNING! The supplied anti-tipping bracket must be installed in all cases. This prevents the appli-ance from tipping over when the fully loaded door is opened.

Installation:1. Markthecentrelineoftheapplianceonthefloor.Aligntheanti-tippingbracketcentretothecentreline.

2. Dependingontheconstitutionofthefloorandwall,useanypossiblemountingoptionasshowninchapterMounting Op-tions.Thescrews(6x60)aresuppliedwiththeaccessorypack.

Important!If the floor slopes down sideways, the anti-tipping bracket must be fitted horizontally. Lay down spacers in the appropriate positions.

CAUTION! Ensure that there are no electric cables or water pipes in the wall section to which the anti-tipping bracket is to be secured. These could be damaged during installation.

3. Insert the bent section of the hosethroughtheopeningattherightsideoftheappliance.

4. Movethehosetothefrontandcon-nectwiththevalveconnector.Be sure the connection is tightlyarranged.

Installation1. Placetheapplianceinfrontoftheinstallationrecess.

2.Applycoverstripsabove,bet-weenandbelowthesecuringplatesonthesidewallsoftheappliance.Cutthecoverstripstotherightlengthforthispurpose.Fittheadhesivecoverstripsleaving a gap of 6,5mm toeach securing plate. Thisensuresproblem-free fittingofthecovers. 2.

Connection to the water supply

combined refrigerator-freezer is connected totheelectricitysupply.• Theconnectiontothemainswatersupplymayonlybemadebytrainedpersonnel.• Thewaterqualitymustcomplywiththedrinkingwaterdirectivesofthecountryinwhichtheap-plianceisused.• Theicemakerisdesignedexclusivelytomakeicecubesinquantitiesrequiredbyahouseholdandmayonlybeoperatedwithwatersuitableforthispurpose.• Allrepairsandworkontheicemakermayonlybecarriedoutbycustomerservicepersonnelorothertrainedpersonnel.• Themanufacturercannotacceptliabilityfordam-agecausedbyafaultyconnectiontothemainswatersupply.

Water pressureThe water pressure must be between 150 and 600 KPa (1.5 - 6 bar).

Important!Ifthewaterfilterisinsertedintheappliance,thewater pressure mustliebetween300 and 600 KPa (3 - 6 bar).

If the water pressure with the inserted water filter is too low, this may cause the ice maker to malfunction.

Thewatersupplytotheappli-ancemustbe throughacoldwaterpipethatcanwithstandthe operating pressure andcomplies with the hygieneregulations.

Forthis,usethestainlesssteelhosesupplied(length3m).

9. Fillthehosewithwaterandconnecttotheshut-offtap.Be sure the connection is tightly arranged.Opentheshut-offtapandcheckthesystemforleakage.

Important!Aftertheicemakerhasbeenswitchedon,thewatersupplysystemmustbebled.

5. Locatethewaterhoseintotherailoftheappliancebase.

WARNING! Do not connect the appliance to the power supply until the installation is completed.

CAUTION! Lay the mains cable and the water hose in such a way that they will not be damaged when the appliance is slid into the installation recess.

Mounting the ventilation grillePulloutthebottomfreezerdrawer.

1. Removetheblueprotectionfilmfromthedustfilterprovidedandinsertthefilterintoitsopeningin the plinth. Engage the filter at thebottom,pressdownthebuttonandclickintoplace.

3. Insertthesupportsfortheventilationgrilleontheleftandrightsidesinthemotorcompartment.

2. Remove the locking pins ofbothsupports.Thesupportsare provided with the appli-anceaccessorypack.

Fastening the appliance in the recessOnceintherecess,securetheappliancetothebodyoftheunitusingthesecuringplates(4x16screws).

Thenclickthecoverssup-pliedintoplace.

Leveling the appliance1. Adjusttheheightoftheapplianceatthefrontbytwistingthelevelingfeet1.Usetheopen-endedspannerprovided.Turnthespannercounterclockwisetoraisetheappliancefrontandclockwisetolowerit.Positionthespanneraccordingly(1).

2. Adjusttheheightoftheapplianceattherearbyturningtheadjustingbolts2.Usea1/4"boxspanneror theTorx25wrenchprovided.

3. Rotatelevelingfeet1untilfirmlyinplaceagainstthefloor.

WARNING! To prevent the appliance from tipping forward the leveling feet 1 must have contact with the floor.

6. Installtheventilationgrille.Thegrillehasboltsontheinside(seedetail inthedrawingbelow).Theseboltsmustbe inserted into theholesof thesupports.

7. Adjusttheheightoftheventilationgrille.• Loosen thegrubscrewsat the frontof thegrille (AllenkeyA/F2.5).

Removing the mounting accessories from the refrigerator doorRemovethecover1andunscrewthetopandbottomattach-mentbrackets2fromtherefrigeratordoor.Theseattachmentbracketswillbemountedontotherefrigeratordoorpanel.

Important!The securing nuts are needed for re-mounting the pre-assembled door panel onto the refrigerator door.

Removing the mounting accessories from the freezer drawersUnscrewtheattachmentbrackets3fromthefreezerdrawers.These attachment bracketswill bemounted onto the freezerpanels.

Important!The screws are needed for re-mounting the pre-assembled freezer panels onto the freezer drawers.

Adjusting the refrigerator doorThelateraltiltoftherefrigeratordoorcanbeadjustedifrequired.Undoscrews1.Adjustthelateraltiltusingthegrubscrew2 (AllenkeyA/F2.5).

Adjusting the front of the drawerIfrequired,thefrontofthefreezerdrawerscanbeadjusted.Transferthescrewsshownintheillustration(ontheleftandrightsidesofthefreezerdrawer)individuallytothelongslotsbelow.Tighten thescrews in the frontof thedraweronce it is in therightposition.

4. Alignthesecondrefrigeratordoorattachmentbrackettothebottomline,asshownintheillustrationbelow,andsecurewithatleast6screws(4x14).

5. Secureeachoftheattachmentbracketsthathavebeenremovedfromthefreezerdrawersusing3screws(4x14),asshownintheillustrationbelow.

Mounting the freezer panels1. Pulloutthetopfreezerdrawerandscrewonthepre-assembledpanel.Thesamescrewsmustbeusedasthoseusedtoscrewontheattachmentbrackets(3.5x13).

2. Closethefreezerdrawerandcheckthepositionofthepanel.Adjust theheightof thepanelbyundoingthe leftandrightscrews.Tightenthescrews.

3.Pulloutthebottomfreezerdrawerandmountthepanelinthesameway.

4. Forbothdrawers,coverthegapbetweenthedrawerandthepanelwiththecoverstripssupplied.Removetheprotectivefilmfromthetrimandinsertintothegapatthetop.

Changing over door hingesDoorhingesshouldonlybechangedbyatrainedexpert.

WARNING! Do not try to change over the door hinges your-self. The refrigerator door hinges are fitted with strong closing springs. If the hinge accidentally snaps shut, this can lead to serious injury.
