for Success in Your Life (and Career)
6 Step Blueprint
Own Your Brand1
Your brand is what makes you uniquely you.
Be aware of how you come across to people.
Your brand can appear in 3 different ways:
Make sure you are consistent across all forms.
In person
On paper(i.e. your resume)
Online
Prioritize Relationships2
Be aware of the people in your immediate and distant
communities, what networks they are in, and what bigger
life goals they have.
“You are the average of the 5 people you spend
the most time with.”
–Jim Rohn
Put others before yourself, and they will start to do
the same for you.
Declare Specific Goals3
Without goals, it is easy to feel lost and
uncertain about your future.
Declare your goals out loud.
Work backwards to create a plan of action
to make your dream a reality.
Sharing your goal with others may help you get there faster!
Get More Experience4
The more experience you have, the better.
There is always something new to learn or try.
New experiences will help to develop
your skills and strengthen your personal brand.
Develop an Executive Presence5
Become a leader people want to follow.
Be someone that is authentic, listens and is open to new ideas, promotes creativity,
and empowers those around them.
Feedback: Ask For It and Share It6
There is always room for improvement.
Apply feedback right away and observe the results.
Incorporating the ideas of those around you builds
a strong community of accountability, trust,
honesty, and teamwork.
