A lion can go 50m.p.h. for a shortdistance.

The Early years

The baby lion is called acub. Cubs come insmall litters with 2 to 5babies. Lioness canbaby sit other cubs.Lionesses give birthevery 2 years. A lot oflionesses keep thebabys until the cubs are4.

The lionʼs habitat isthe grassland. Theylive in the grasslandbecause they havecamelish. They havecamelish because ofthe color.

The lion has a lot on themenu. It haswildebeest,impala,themost odveus one is thezebra,giraffe,buffalo,and wild hog.Theysometimes eat rhinosand hippos. They alsofeed on smaller animalssuch as hares,birds,and reptiles. They arealso known to attackelephants.

The tracks of a lionlooks a lot like otherpredators tracks. It islike thecheetahs,foxes,andbears. The tiger has themost alike tracks. Thetracks are found inAfrica,India,andMadagascar.

The lion is thelargest carnivore onEarth. The lion isonly active 2 to 4hours a day. Thereare 6 males in apride.
