3D LAYOUT OF PLANT
TOOLS USED IN MAKING AN 3D PETROCHEMICAL PLANT ARE:
EXTRUDE PRESSPULL SWEEP REVOLVE LOFT UNION HATCH GRADIENT
EXTRUDE:Creates a 3d solid or surface are surface by extruding a 2d object.PRESSPULL:Press or pulls bounded areas.SWEEP:Creates a 3d solid or surface by sweeping a 2d object.
REVOLVE:Creates a 3d solid or surface by sweeping a 2d object around its own axis.LOFT:Creates a 3d solid or surface in the space between several cross sections.GRADIENT:Fill the enclosed path with colour.
`MAKING OF 3D PLANT:1)Cylinder2)Box3)Poly solid4)Wedge5)Planar surface6)Flats7)sphere
SCALE USED: radius of cylinder or tank is 79.2. height of the box is 205. height of the slab is 445. height of the plane taken is 440.
DIFFERENT STAGES OF DIAGRAM:1)Making a plane surface as
2) Making small cuboidal blocks as
3)FOR bigger cubes or blocks we just operate press and pull so the Object is as
4)Making a cylinder or oil tank by selecting a circle in 2d and then Extruding as
5)Making a slab by selecting a box in top view and Join it by cylindrical rods vertically andUnion it. And it as follows
6)Making a small truck type objectis to take a wedge and attach it with sphere in top view.
7)COOLING TOWER: First take a box and then attach torus to it on the top view as

Advantages to draw in 3d view:1) 1. Save time and
money and reduce errors with the dynamic engineering model
2) 2. Reduce purchase, deployment, and support costs with one complete solution.
3) Increase value to client by delivering more design alternatives in less time.4) 7. Complete projects faster and reduce the chance of coordination errors using theCivil 3D project environment.
