Supported in part by The New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature
A Letter from
the Director
Welcome to the 31st annual Artists’ Studio Tour! This event, organized by SLC Arts, is free and open to everyone. Studio Tour offers community residents and visitors the opportunity to take a self-guided driving tour of artists’ studio spaces across St. Lawrence County. Our hope is that as you meet these artists face-to-face, you will come to understand more about each artist’s creative process, be encouraged to buy locally, and make new community connections. SLC Arts believes in art for everyone and has been St. Lawrence County’s arts council since 1972.
Thiseventhelpsustofulfillourmissiontoencourageunderstanding and appreciation of the arts, maximize limited resources through shared publicity for individual artists, and encourage public and private support of the arts. It is one of the many programs and services we offer. Artists’ Studio Tour is made possible through the support of media sponsor North Country Public Radio—and donors like you. SLC Arts is a 501(c)3 non-profitorganization,soyourdonationsarecompletelytax-deductible.Youcanlearnmoreaboutthebenefitsof becoming a member-donor online by visitingwww.slcartscouncil.org/give/
Thank you for your support, and have a great tour!-Suzy McBroom
