Towards a New Training Model Strategy overview…

1- Selection Strategy Enhanced Ability to cope 95% sucess rate for ATCo & ATSEP Number of applicants 1 position / 6 to 10 applicants Student professional ambition

2- Training Strategy

3- Associated objectives

For all: LMD certification European recogntion & training capitalization Cross culture training improved professional integration For ATCo & ATSEP: Eurocontrol Certification Multi-Rating potential carreer transition Operator and Managerial aspects potential carreer development Project Managment potential carreer development For ATCo specifically Eurocontrol Certification European ATCo Licence

Objectives for ATCo & ATSEP: to become ATCo / ATSEP experts (short term) To be able to « adapt to »… but also « to drive » change To be aware of their position & role in the system To becomeATM experts (medium term) Objectives for Pilots To meet the highest level standards / possible access to all airlines

Towards a New Training Model Cost vs Benefits overview…

For ATCo & ATSEP: Minimal selection cost Initial contract (3 years training vs 7 years redemption) 95% success rate need to consider the cost « per qualified individual » (and not the catalogue price) Limited transition training (initial multi-Rating) They have the required foundations enabling a conversion to managerial positions with limited retraining time

For EPL / Pilots: No employer contract throughout the training / no training fee for the students Training expenses covered by Airlines and taxes on Airline tickets Few students, therefore a limited cost overall Highly selective highest possible standards
