What are Deliveries?

In Necto, deliveries is a engine which upon triggering will generate a email with a view or a link to a view to be sent to a user/a group of users.

Delivery tasks are based on a data view to be delivered to users.

The task executes either by schedule or on cube data change.

Configuring Necto Deliveries Server.

To start to configure the deliveries from Necto you need to access the registry on the Necto server, if you do not feel confident in this you can ask Panorama Customer Success for help.In the registry add the following Registry String Values to the Necto Server only (x.x is the version of Necto installed):HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Panorama\Necto x.x\Admin\UseDeliveryNet with a value of 1HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Panorama\Necto x.x\Admin\DeliveryNetServer with the value of the SMTP servers IP address (something similar to 192.168.1.0).HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Panorama\Necto x.x\Admin\DeliveryNetPort with the value of 25 (unless you have a different SMTP port configured).The following key should be set to 10 for normal operation, for testing the deliveries set it to 1 which indicates a 1 minute delivery check interval.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Panorama\Necto x.x\Admin\DeliveryJobFreqency=10
