Writing Workshop/Word Study:-November Letters: using a web-‘Thankful Thoughts’ Project-Google-importance of rereading work

Math Workshop:-Adding sums to 10 and 20-Missing addend (6+___=10)-counting objects by 10’s, 5’s, and 2’s-addition and subtraction story problems

If you are looking for something to do at home:-Make up a basic word problem for your student. For example, Leah has 5 fewer stuffed animals than Niall. Niall has 10. How many stuffed animals does Leah have? Ask them if they are to add or subtract.-Practice finding combinations that equal 10 (examples: 9+1=10, 2+2+6=10, 12-2=10)
