Distance Learning

ART SHOW

On March 13, 2020 Palmerton High School students left the Art room and dove head first into online learning. For nine weeks they stepped out of their comfort zones,

navigated new learning platforms, and found that even in uncertain times, we can turn to ART as a way to cope, spread positivity, and take a break from the craziness.

Please help the Palmerton High School students celebrate their accomplishments and check out what we have been busy creating!

Welcome!

Each week during online instruction, students were given various assignment options to choose from. They stretched their imaginations, worked only with what they had at home, and experienced artmaking in a totally new way!

The following slides contain the work of Advanced Art (10-12th grade) and Intro to Art (9th grade) students.

Enjoy!

art student, taught Brayden, a level 2 art student, how to draw

step by step in her unique artistic style.

By the time they were finished, they had spent almost 5 hours drawing
