AMES, IA - The Iowa FFA Job Interview Leadership Event was held at Iowa State University, Ames, onMonday, April 10, 2017. Twelve individuals participated in this year's Career Development Event (CDE). Thefirst place individual for the event was Maria Geisler from the Hudson FFA Chapter. Their agricultureeducation instructor and FFA advisor is Mr. Dennis Deppe.The second place individual for the event wasCourtney Becker from the Maquoketa FFA Chapter. Their agriculture education instructors and FFA advisorsare Mr. Gary Bruns and Jackie Crowley.

Members participating in the Job Interview Career Development Event had to demonstrate their ability infilling out a job application form, writing a letter of application, preparing a resume, interviewing properly,answering questions clearly, and presenting the proper impression. The Iowa FFA Job Interview CDE wasmade possible with support from Legend Seed through the Iowa FFA Foundation.
