The guys had an exceptionally good qualifying race finishing 2nd fastest overall in Class. Unfortunately on race day they experienced two punctures as well as damaged their rear prop shaft on one of the many rocks on route which lost them a considerable amount of time…in the end though they fought back to finish 8th overall which secured them a very impressive 3rd overall in their class for the 2016 Championship.

The guys had a clean and neat qualifying session and took this same strategy into the main race….besides a puncture which set them back slightly they came home in an impressive 5th overall in class to maintain their 100% finishing record for the season….one of only three crews in the Championship to accomplish this feat in 2016. They finished in an impressive 5th overall in the Championship in their debut year in the V8 powered Nissan Navara.

The guys had a nice clean and calculated run

during their qualifying session which gave

Nissan competition winner and race debutant

Pieter some time to acclimatise with the race

cockpit and surrounding terrain. Besides a late

puncture on race day the guys reported a clean

run which gave them the best class result this

year for the Celebrity & Corporate Challenge,

an impressive 2nd overall in the international

FIA class.

Just a short thank you again from my side to be given a once in a lifetime opportunity to play a role in this Championship. This Adrenalin Filled Adventure was one unbelievable, unforgettable rollercoaster ride, an opportunity of a lifetime!!

I wouldn’t think twice about doing it again!! .

Nissan, in conjunction with Red-Lined launched a social media competition for the public where the winner got to spend a weekend at a national race in the HOT SEAT next to Terence!
