Sponsorship Opportunities Title Sponsor ‐ $5,000     Have a race named in your honor, and take a picture                     in the winner’s circle after ‘your’ race. Copies of your                   winner’s circle photo will appear in the Foundation               newsletter. You will have 4 preferred parking passes               and tickets for up to 8 guests.   

Banquet Sponsor ‐ $2,500   You will have signage at each dining table,               recognition in the Foundation newsletter and 4             tickets to the event and 2 preferred parking passes.  

Cocktail Sponsor ‐ $2,500   You will have signage at the bar, recognition in the                   Foundation newsletter, and 4 tickets to the event and                 2 preferred parking passes.

 About the Long Beach Bar Association 

For 98 years the Long Beach Bar Association has been serving the legal community of Long Beach. Since 1994 the Association has partnered with the Long Beach Bar Foundation to better serve 

our community. 

 

  

About the Long Beach Bar Foundation Since its creation in 1994, the Foundation has worked to 

improve the City of Long Beach through legal education and juvenile offender diversion.  The Foundation operates the highly 

successful Shortstop Program and youth and family oriented counseling, including programs in anger management. The 

Foundation also awards scholarships to high achieving, college bound Long Beach Students. 

    

Shortstop Program  

All proceeds from the Shortstop Casino Night will go towards the LBBF and the Shortstop Program. This Program provides 

education to first‐time juvenile offenders and their families, teaching them about the process of the legal system and 

consequences of legal violations.   

Testimonials as well as follow up studies have suggested that the counseling that these families receive is extremely 

effective, with 97% of these at‐risk youth maintaining clean records in the time they were monitored after completing the 

program.
