NCAL 2012 The retention rate indicates a sense of the stability of staff. In 2011, the retention rate for all assisted living employees was 71%. As shown in Figure 3, retention rates ranged from 72.0% to 84.0% percent across all major assisted living job categories. Food services had the lowest retention rate among all job categories.
