What is Surrealism?
•An art style that tried to express the world of dreams•A significant art movement of the 1920’s and 1930’s
What makes artwork surreal?•Putting together images that don’t usually belong together, such as an animal with wheels instead of feet (morphing/transformation)•A drawing of something you would never see in the real world •Using your imagination•Putting something in an environment it wouldn’t normally belong in. (displacement)
