Rhonda and Chris came to visit, kicking 2012 off to a good start!

Greg was there too, always good for a laugh, a meal, a movie!

I love these moments hanging out with Tom and Amity doing the regular things such as drawing and card games.

And I am still cool Aunty Sandie with the technology!

One of my favourite photos of Amity is her appearing to pose for the camera at about 8 months… and the posing continues!

Baby Chase came into the world a few months early, our little April fool, but no laughing matter, he is streaming along, beautiful baby with his gorgeous Mum Jean!

Sydney Comedy Festival with Maria, Leonie and Katie!

Catching up with Amanda Baker during Sydney Comedy Festival!

Westmar and Moonie SS 50th year reunions… great weekends and loads of memories shared with my childhood and lifelong

best friend Jodie!

Hanging out at Brentwood with the Neal clan, getting my dose of country living, prickles and

all.

My favourite funny of the year!

Wednesday night trivia at Cazaly’s, a fabulous bunch of ladies!

Jenny Morris and Josh Quong Tart at Vertigos.

Chris marching to her regular Taipans beat! She keeps us up to date on all things orange! Festival Cairns 2012.

Julie and Michael at (BigTummy) Koh-Ya! Yummmmm…

Dinner with Michael and his cleavage at Tamarind before he headed to Saudi Arabia for work. Miss you!

Hands up in the air! Boom Crash Opera at Vertigos. Soooo good we went both nights!!

Mum and Dad visited and we went out to the amazing Undara lava tubes.

“OMG its Marcia Hines!!! “And yes I did say that out aloud!!

I am so lucky to have this beautiful friend, Norma, who comes along or let’s me tag along to these fabulous events…

Mumford and Sons at the Kuranda Amphitheatre!

Mumford and Sons!

One of the not so good days….

How beautiful is this boy, Mr Chase out to lunch with us!

Aunty Anna came up for the eclipse and we then went to Cooktown for a week to visit her niece and my cousin Helen.

Aunty Anna, Helen and her partner Mats on their new

block.

Great nights at the basketball… except for my failure at the $5000 half court shot… I am a spectator not a player! lolol

Enjoying time in the park with the kids before Jacqui’s

drumming with the Samba Blistass

The posing continues!

The Leach Family! My gorgeous sister Jacqui, fab bro-in-law Simon and you know the two ragamuffins now!

The year finished up with my first foray overseas, to PNG, will be back 3 weeks out of each month until May next year!

These are but samples of the many fantastic events of 2012. My Dad’s recent 70th birthday allowed me to

catch up with many dear family friends and relatives, some I have not seen in years, but feel like we only

chatted yesterday. I love the stories and the laughs… and have cherished the many phone calls, messages, emails, catch ups and Facebook chats with all of my

other friends over the year, too numerous to mention here but to say thank you. Some of you successfully dodge cameras too! We are truly lucky to be able to

keep in touch. I will say this year has had many trying times where the voice on the other end of the phone or computer has been the smile I needed. My Mum made me cry this year with her Xmas card, all she

wanted for Xmas was her daughter… and I think that’s what its all about, all we want for Xmas is the love of family and friends. So wherever you are tomorrow I wish you all health, happiness and most importantly

heartfelt hugs from those nearest and dearest. Merry Xmas everyone!
